A good day to bury bad news, 2015.

The government has chosen the last parliamentary working day of the year to simultaneously publish hundreds of reports, statements and legislative documents. At a time when journalists are looking the other way, and the country as a whole is firmly focused on Christmas holidays, this can be nothing else but a brazen attempt to make today a good day to bury bad news.

This is a prime example of the deliberate, institutionalised trickery that contributes to politicians being so routinely distrusted and disparaged.

Buzzfeed, the BBC website and others have interesting titbits, but where can the general public see the rest of the documents?
